My Journey
Back in 2005, I had a bold idea. I wanted to create a website—Dom.com—that would quickly summarize the dense, complex ideas of Freud, Nietzsche, Descartes, and all the other heavyweights my sociology major required. Think of it as an early, extremely niche version of ChatGPT… but only for unfocused college students trying to survive Sociology 302.
Unfortunately, Dom.com was already taken (by Dominion Power, of course), and I had no idea how to build a website—so the dream went into dorm-room hibernation.
Since then, my path has been anything but linear:

🌱 Built 10+ cannabis supply chains, moved over $1B in wholesale product, and launched analytics offerings with $0 in engineering support? Done
What ties it all together is an obsession with solving hard, messy problems. The kind that live between finance, tech, and operations; that don’t come with an owner; and that require both a zoomed-out strategy and a zoomed-in execution plan.
What I Do
I’m a strategic operator and advisor who lives at the intersection of:

I’ve worked with early-stage founders, VC-backed platforms, and $1B+ enterprises. My specialty is bridging the gap between the why and the how—zooming in to find insights, and zooming out to drive decisions that scale.
Why I Built This
Domitdown.com is more than a personal blog—it’s the digital home base for the consulting work I do with cannabis operators, founders, and investors.
After years of building cannabis supply chains, advising tech platforms, and bridging the gap between financial discipline and operational chaos, I realized most businesses don’t struggle because they lack tools; they struggle because they lack clarity. That’s where I come in.
Through 1:1 advisory, analytics design, and strategy consulting, I help cannabis companies use their own data to make smarter decisions, improve margins, and scale sustainably. This site is an extension of that work; a place to share frameworks, demystify strategic finance, and offer practical guidance for operators who are deep in the weeds (pun fully intended).
